JOB OPENING: Senior Account Manager

DataNet is looking for hard working, technical, detailed focused, financially astute people who understand broadband SONET and Ethernet networks and solutions and can sell on a consultative (and we mean it) sales basis. We are looking for people who can develop their own leads, who can deal with a challenging sales cycle, who can write customer proposals and fine-tune contracts. The ideal candidate is someone who likes to be completely involved in the entire account management process and who can coordinate opportunity development with Engineering, Construction, Installation and Finance counterparts to develop individualized business solutions that make sense to DataNet and ultimately the customer. The Senior Account Manager position at DataNet is truly unlike other telecom sales positions.

Job Summary Brief

This position is responsible for the development, consultation, and ultimate sale of DataNet Communications’ products in the assigned region/market sector/key accounts. The position requires locating and qualifying new customers, presenting DataNet products to these customers, and establishing a consultative relationship with the customer such that the ultimate DataNet offering meets or exceeds the customer requirements. Additionally required, is winning competitive bids in response to RFQ’s/RFP’s. This position works closely with engineering, construction, accounting and legal to ensure quality services are offered to our customers.
